Historically used for punching laundry in a wash tub, this ponch is made from a single piece of sweetgum wood with a hardwood handle. They are hand-turned and sizes vary (the height is roughly 30″, the handle 14″ and the head 4″ in diameter). Many tool marks remain. They are shipped with the handle disassembled and require some simple assembly before use. Instructions are included. I am happy to make laundry bats, beetles, dollies and other tools to match your needs.
