Checks: You can also mail me a check payable to Elia Bizzarri (please include shipping – see above). Unfortunately, I cannot take phone payments.
Delivery Time: All products ship in a day or two if I’m in town (out-of-stock items are clearly labeled and cannot be added to the cart). Domestic orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage; delivery takes 2-6 business days.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Tax ID or Customs Clearance Number: I have lost several packages without a customs number (both to South Korea). Some countries require it on all packages, others if the value is over a certain amount. Some may not require it at all. I can ship without a number, but I can’t be responsible if the package goes missing because it needed one.
International orders usually ship via GlobalPost or UPS. GlobalPost is a third-party shipper that gets the package to your country then hands it off to a local carrier (usually your postal service). GlobalPost seems to handle customs better than other services; a few destinations even let me pre-pay the customs fees up front. The only down-side: tracking often disappears between the US and the destination country.
